We could not be more pleased with our new fixed-glass, direct vent 564TRV 25K Deluxe GSR2 Fireplace by Travis Industries. Our new gas fireplace will provide heat and even work during power outages! Easy to understand remote control. It is a beautiful and welcome addition to our open kitchen area. While it is providing beautiful atmosphere most important of all it is providing much needed WARMTH. (We replaced a horrible 1990s gas fireplace that only took heat from our room and sent it right up the chimney.) Also, our current chase was in abysmal condition. It was totally rebuilt and re-insulated along with removal of the existing chimney by a highly competent contractor, Robert Sikora, recommended by Hearth & Home. Robert had previously been employed by Hearth & Home and has since started his own independent business. Robert performed our work with precision and kept us updated as to what he found, how he was going to fix/replace it and he took and shared a lot of photographs to illustrate things we could not see. Robert also installed our new fireplace and explained its features using the remote control operation.
