One of the best ways to update the look of an old fireplace is by re-facing it with a new brick or stone. At Hearth & Home we offer a large variety of stone, ranging from manufactured Cultured Stone to RealStone, which is a natural stone hand-picked, split and adhered together to form standardized panels. Any of these products can take a dated fireplace and give it a look you will enjoy for years to come.

Accentstone by RealStone Systems 

Accentstone Panels are thinner than Ledgestone and Shadowstone veneers, and offer a smooth finish.

  • Although individual stones vary from larger rectangles to slim pieces, each panel has the exact same composition with a very uniform look
  • Available in Sierra (shown in picture), Latte Honed, Charcoal, Terracotta and Bluestone

Hearth Stones by RealStone Systems 

Hearth pieces are 20" x 20" and on average1.5" thick. There are three different edge options to complete the look of a Realstone clad fireplaces

Ledgestone stone panels offer a rustic, "rough cut" look and a weathered finish. Great for a rustic looking fireplace.

Thinstone is natural ledgestone cut in to ultra thin slices which are adhered together to form a panel.

  • It is a rough cut, split face stone with a weathered finish.
  • The thin cut of the stone makes it a texture rich contemporary looking panel, perfect for a contemporary look.
  • Available in Artic White, Charcoal, Midnight Sky, Sierra, Terracotta, Silver Alabaster (shown in picture)

The Collection offers reflects a contemporary esthetic of soothng grey tones, neutral creams and some muted browns.

Colors Include:

  • Birch is a stunning pale veined grey limestone with a smooth, honed finish
  • Mocha is a soft brown sandstone with a honed finish
  • Roman Beige is a honed, golden toned limestone
  • Latte is available in a honed or ledgestone finish in creamy travertine
  • Nero is a nice black w/ white marbeling
  • Carbon is the more muted brown
